New Beads

New Beads will update Etsy this after noon around 4:00. Love these new striking glass wavy beads they have blue, purple and green colors. The picture doesn't do them justice. The aqua beads have no black lines on them but the picture shows some.

Sandi over at her blog Do Be Do Bead Do makes beautiful polymer clay beads. I was the lucky one to win a pair of her wave earrings. I found her blog going though the Bead Soup list. Sandi has a Etsy store by the same name as her blog. Thanks again Sandi for my lovely earrings.

New wavy Disks

New wavy Disks in blue, opal yellow with pink, opal yellow with brown, Raku and copper green with pink and etched. Looks like I better go back and clean the copper green bead again. Its amazing what the camera will pick up in pictures. I sold all my other disks at my show. I will get these up on etsy today I promise.

My garden has not produced a lot of vegetables this year. The zucchini are small not many string beans. Just getting tomatoes. Had to take a picture of this basket full of goodies.

NEW DISK BEADS

Boy these were fun to make. Wavy disk's with ridge's. I am making a necklace for a friend. I kinda got carried a way with different colors and enamels and made more then I needed. So the sets will be up for sale on my Etsy shop. Enjoy and be creative

A very special metal flower made by Natasha, she adds patina's to the metal giving a very unique look. You can see her designs on FB and she just started a blog n'sWhims.

Lori Anderson is once again hosting the Bead Soup Swap. This is my first time so I am very excited to be part of the fun. My partner Natasha Lutes is new to the blog world but not the jewelry world. She has a following on FB. She makes the most amazing Vintage Soda Pop bracelets, Necklaces with Filigree and gem stones. I can't wait to get my goodies. I have to finish a few beads and waiting for my silver shipment to get here so I can make my clasp. Mailing everything out on Friday hand made clasp or not. It would be nice to have the clasp handmade.

Patina

I made this bracelet some time ago with Gaea's Ceramic mini beads and chain and clasp from Shannon LeVart (Missficklemedia). It was to small for my wrist and everyone else that tried it on. I ordered more chain and clasp to match and made a necklace that I love.

New Rustic Etched and Pitted lampwork Beads

Fun new Rustic Beads. They have different colors of reduction frit and powder rolled in baking soda then etched for the matte finish. The next set is Raku frit and silver foil and lots of clear. Looks like boro glass. Had a fun week-end. Was in a show 2 hours from home. Cute town I was surprised at how many people were there. One couple was 4 hours from there home but come every year for this show. Even had one person buy 140.00 of beads. I just started to bring bead sets to my shows. If your a bead maker do you sell beads at shows or Jewelry with your beads? Would love to know.

Can't believe I forgot a box for the show

My DH helped me put up an my booth an then I had to tell him we forgot a box that has all the custom table covers and the risers cash box and my sign. He took me into a town we didn't know how to get around and found a table cloth,shower curtain and black sheets at a Ross store. That was after going to 3 other stores. I didn't want to spend a lot on something I have. Hope the rest of the week-end show goes better. I think my Dh needs a little loving for all the help he did today. Its not everyday we stay in a nice Motel.

We are leaving town and going to walk for 24 hours in the Relay For Life. I will pass my 1000 crane's necklace to someone else to have good luck during there treatment.
Oh on an other note Jean Yates brought some beads from me and she is doing a Michelle Mach challenge. How cool is that. Also she lives where I grew up as a kid. Well got to go. Have a nice week-end.

New beads and a long over due Hello

I have been very busy and will not stop until August. I did a last minute show on the 4th more like Town Parade. I did quite well, It help's when your the only Jewelry and Bead vender. I walk in the Relay for Life this week-end and have a show the following week-end. A Party out of town again on the 30th. My Grandkids were up for a few days that was fun, they are all getting so grown up.
     I am going to have my reconstruction surgery done over. After my 3rd opinion with Doctors we agree there can be improvement. I get to enjoy my summer this wont happen until November.
     In August I hope to get more beads on Etsy more blog time with new designs. I don't know how you guys do it with working full time raising children and your able to Blog, FB, and run a store. I don't work and can't seem to find the time.

    Well some pretty beads. These have gorgeous colors. Believe it or not  both sets are made with the same glass one with more clear.

Sue's Flower Charm Challenge

I made a necklace and earring with the cute enamel flower charms Sue sent me. I wire wrapped seed beads and the charm also added some tornado wire wrapped beads. Then I used waxed linen and seed beads to make the tie. The earrings have the tornado wrapped wire charms and seed beads. This was a fun challenge. Oh No Logging in my front yard!

You have all seen this picture with snow and with out. That big tree has been marked a few weeks ago to be cut down along with many others. Makes me very sad. I love that tree, I love to read in my living room and look out at the tree. Well we woke up to chain saws at 6:00. They made an opening to the left of that tree and are logging down the ridge and close to the road. Joe went over to plea with them about the tree we love so much. Well all the tree's we saw with orange around them are the ones they were not to cut down. Happy dance!!!! But still sad to see so many tree's come out of the forest. I will take picture later to see if you can see a difference.
