This is what I sent Kristin. You can tell what day the sun was out. I didn't see any dark beads in her collection so I went with that. She works in more silver so I sent antique and black chain. I can't wait to see what she makes. I do know it will be over the top beautiful. Click on picture to see the gorgeous colors on the black beads.

Copper Green is one of my favorite colors to work, it has fun with other glass, loves to be etched but it's a little pricy then other glass, so if you mess up there is a few SHit's!!!!!!!! that can be heard in the next town over. This bead was going to be a thin ring around a large mandrel, as you can see it got thick and then I went crazy and just wrapped over my thick ring. I was ready to just dump it the water jug but had room in the kiln and saved it. So Happy I did as I love this bead. I will try to make again cause 3 on a chain would be cool.

New Press and Beads

Thats one big bead. It's 36mm. It took almost two rods of glass. I like the color combo transparent gray, Ivory and copper green. The set of five beads is the same color combo. I was playing around with picnik so black corners today. Etched Turquoise and copper green so pretty together. Green set is cim Poison Apple with frit. Then opal yellow with z-99 and Sea Green Reduction powder and silver droplets.

Cute Holiday Earrings

New earring on Etsy. Made with my red lampwork with silver droplets and cute joy bezel on vintaj earring wire.
I have have the house decorated with all my handmade snowmen and Santa's the tree is trimmed, the lights are hung and the driveway has a pathway of candy canes.
I go back to the doctors tomorrow to get the stitches out. I am very happy with my results, glad I had it done over. My doctor was a little apprehensive to fix some else's mistake. He had a lot of fixing to do to repair so I had a lot of stitches on the outside to form the breasts. I get to wait 8 months then I get the nipples and tattoo. This has been a long process, but I am very blessed to spend another beautiful Holiday with family and friends.

Funny name for a bracelet but thats all I got. I used some of Janel ceramic beads, seed beads, tornado wrapped wire beads glass head pins and charms and 6 of my lampwork beads so hence the name.

My etsy Store is going to stay open when I am away from home. I bring my inventory with me. It gives me something to do between Dr. Appointments. I have tons of new beads in hopes to make some goodies for the Virtual Tour. I might of bitten off more than I can chew but we will see. Oh my it's snowing Thats all I need is to not get out of the driveway. I can't believe it was 75 on Thursday.

I just love the light green with frit they are so pretty in person. Copper green and Teal are etched for a nice matte finish. The other light green earring set have gold on the larger of the beads. The green with silver is incased as the red the silver is on top. They will be up on Etsy today. Also I have 50 cent Sunday I have three nice sets so come back and check it out. My Kiln is heated ready for me to get to work.

The pink and green bracelet has one of Uniquebuttons on Etsy as a focal and the clasp. Many of my color chips lampwork beads and 2 glass vintage beads.
The green bracelet is made up of small peanut beads the focal Leaf was on a package from Doreen. It just looked to darn cute with the dangles.
The blue bracelet has the smaller peanut beads with the focal hand that was made special for me from Beadfreaky on Etsy.

Alcohol Inks Pendants and earrings

I have been having fun with alcohol inks. These I used my Cuttlebug to make the designs. Cuttlebug is an embosser of paper but will work with thin metals. Have fun with the colors and sand off the high spots. I have added star charms on some, made cute pair of earrings. All pendants are sanded so no sharp edges. I will be putting up on etsy today. Breast Cancer Awareness Month

This month in 2009 I found out I had BC. My ordeal isn't over yet as my first implants were not done correctly so November 15th I get my new ones. I pray this will be my last surgery. Well I made these pink earrings I was going to submit to an magazine but decided to give away. I will put the 20.00 I would of sold them to the fight for the cure. I have never used this glass (moretti Mustard) before I don't know why but it's beautiful. This set has raku frit. I just finished a set with Praline frit. My tester bead looked good so I made a few sets, will see in the morning. I made some with orange glass too. You can find these beads on Etsy.

I have a lot of tools and presses that I don't seem to use. I was thinking of selling them. What venue do you sell them? On your blog and hope for word of mouth, ebay,etsy?

New wavy Disks in blue, opal yellow with pink, opal yellow with brown, Raku and copper green with pink and etched. Looks like I better go back and clean the copper green bead again. Its amazing what the camera will pick up in pictures. I sold all my other disks at my show. I will get these up on etsy today I promise.

Lori Anderson is once again hosting the Bead Soup Swap. This is my first time so I am very excited to be part of the fun. My partner Natasha Lutes is new to the blog world but not the jewelry world. She has a following on FB. She makes the most amazing Vintage Soda Pop bracelets, Necklaces with Filigree and gem stones. I can't wait to get my goodies. I have to finish a few beads and waiting for my silver shipment to get here so I can make my clasp. Mailing everything out on Friday hand made clasp or not. Fun new Rustic Beads. They have different colors of reduction frit and powder rolled in baking soda then etched for the matte finish. The next set is Raku frit and silver foil and lots of clear. Looks like boro glass. Had a fun week-end. Was in a show 2 hours from home. Cute town I was surprised at how many people were there. One couple was 4 hours from there home but come every year for this show. Even had one person buy 140.00 of beads. I just started to bring bead sets to my shows. If your a bead maker do you sell beads at shows or Jewelry with your beads? Would love to know.

Can't believe I forgot a box for the show

My DH helped me put up an my booth an then I had to tell him we forgot a box that has all the custom table covers and the risers cash box and my sign. He took me into a town we didn't know how to get around and found a table cloth,shower curtain and black sheets at a Ross store. That was after going to 3 other stores. I didn't want to spend a lot on something I have. Hope the rest of the week-end show goes better. I think my Dh needs a little loving for all the help he did today. Its not everyday we stay in a nice Motel.

New beads and a long over due Hello

I have been very busy and will not stop until August. I did a last minute show on the 4th more like Town Parade. I did quite well, It help's when your the only Jewelry and Bead vender. I walk in the Relay for Life this week-end and have a show the following week-end. A Party out of town again on the 30th. My Grandkids were up for a few days that was fun, they are all getting so grown up.
I am going to have my reconstruction surgery done over. After my 3rd opinion with Doctors we agree there can be improvement. I get to enjoy my summer this wont happen until November.
In August I hope to get more beads on Etsy more blog time with new designs. I don't know how you guys do it with working full time raising children and your able to Blog, FB, and run a store. I don't work and can't seem to find the time.

Well some pretty beads. These have gorgeous colors. Believe it or not both sets are made with the same glass one with more clear.

Sue's Flower Charm Challenge

I made a necklace and earring with the cute enamel flower charms Sue sent me. I wire wrapped seed beads and the charm also added some tornado wire wrapped beads. Then I used waxed linen and seed beads to make the tie. The earrings have the tornado wrapped wire charms and seed beads. This was a fun challenge. Oh No Logging in my front yard!

You have all seen this picture with snow and with out. That big tree has been marked a few weeks ago to be cut down along with many others. Makes me very sad. I love that tree, I love to read in my living room and look out at the tree. Well we woke up to chain saws at 6:00. They made an opening to the left of that tree and are logging down the ridge and close to the road. Joe went over to plea with them about the tree we love so much. Well all the tree's we saw with orange around them are the ones they were not to cut down. Happy dance!!!! But still sad to see so many tree's come out of the forest. I will take picture later to see if you can see a difference.

Beads and 2nd Opinion

I made lots of beads today. I don't know when I will get them on etsy. I am going back to the city for a 2nd opinion on my recontruction surgery I had. I not very pleased with the out come. Hope to get some advice on if its fixable. I get to see my granddaughter play baseball it's the playoffs. She is the only girl on the team and she is a power hitter. When she gets up to bat the other team always yells Good hitting back up. The last game I saw she got a three run home run. Hope to get a picture of my new beads before I go. Had a great week-end we when camping with some friends. Cold and rainy but we had a good time.

This is my necklace sent by Jeannie. Very Very small seed beads with a few beads. I was hoping to add some of my beads but the seed beads were too small it looked funny. I took one of the beads Jeannie had on her necklace a green glass bead and added some of my green beads. I took apart an old bracelet I made to get the green beads.
My necklace has two rows one row I wire wrapped the seed beads and added copper wire spirals. The other is seed beads and the green glass beads.

My new beads using z-99 Powder and reduction frits. I use baking soda to get the pitted look. I added clear over the baking soda and got the bubble bead you see in the back. It is so cool. Using different colors to see what looks best. The sky blue ones in the middle came out great lots of teal and aqua colors. When upload on etsy you will see them better.

I got my exchange from tissue expanders to implants last week. I was worried that I would look like Dolly Pardon but no I look like a ballerina. No boobs!! They say the swelling will go down and I will be more defined. I am on a diet maybe if my stomach wasn't so big the boobs would look bigger. I hope it is swollen like my chest I don't remember it this large.
I made some cute earrings while I was away. I didn't bring a lot of stuff with me so it was a challenge to up with designs. I did a Michael's run. Made the colorful necklace and bracelet set with Michael's beads as I forgot my beads.

Glad to be home. I got some enamel powder thats discontinued and made a kiln full of beads. I can't wait to see them.

Leaving today to go get ready for my hopefully last surgery. I get my new Boobies on the 13th. I am excited and scared I don't know why. This surgery should be a piece of cake plus I get something. I have this recurring dream that I wake up and I look like Dolly Pardon I will take her waist but not her boob's. I have all my Etsy Shop Beads with me so I can send out.

Decoupage is back! I made these cute tiles using pictures from magazines just add string and a few beads and you have your self a nice necklace. I made these for street show's. Lots of new beads on etsy today. The new oil slick beads were fun to make and see the fun colors of the slick. Its Black Nebula Frit. It makes little oil slick on the beads. The two pair earring have it. Black with frit and clear with frit it looks better on the clear I think. Its kind of hard to photograph but they are real pretty in person. Hope all are having a nice weekend.

My first street show of the year snowed in.

This first picture is Joe my hubby packing the car. Its friday afternoon we were going to set up my tent and tables one less thing to do in the morning. Its starting to snow. The road we take into town is not plowed and its a very curvy so we turn around and come home. Saturday we wake up early to This...... Guess who didn't do a street show today? Snow up on the mountain rain down below. Its been snowing non stop since 3:30 on friday. I will post more pictures later.

We got about a foot of snow yesterday and today. First picture is the front yard. Check out the humming bird feeder they still come around. Well they did last week when it was 60. Back yard can you see my garden fence. I can't wait to plant this year. I brought 4 pansy plants to give a little color to my porch but are covered in snow hope they come back to life. All pictures taken in side my nice warm house. Enjoy your day.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING Lots to be thankful for this year. Hope everyone has a great day with family and friends. We were out of power since Sunday a big snow storm dropped 2.5 feet of the white powder then it hailed so all the soft fuffy snow is hard and slipery. Got power back on Weds at 3:30 so mad dash to make all the pies. Have a very Happy Thanksgiving!
