I drove into San Francisco yesterday to see if I could get some beads to match my gorgeous beads from Doreen. ( BackyardBeads) I found a strand of Tagua Nut beads in many bright colors. Deep in the Amazon Rainforest grows a special tree, the Tagua or Ivory Palm. Tagua nut has been used to make buttons, jewelry and carved objects since the 19th century. I love the colors and how this bracelet turned out.
The necklace is made with vintage seed beads and coral and jade and a tube bead from Doreen.
